The Great Pagan Rebellion

It’s the year 983. East March is shaken by the greatest pagan uprising against imperial rule. Christians seek to expand their influence, while pagans cling to their ancient traditions. Vikings offer their swords to the highest bidder. And the ambitious rulers, determined to crush the rebellion and impose their will upon the land, stop at nothing to achieve their goals.

You’ll find yourself caught in a web of alliances and betrayals amidst the religious turmoil where pagan tribes fight fiercely for their freedom against the encroaching catholic kingdoms.

Nothing is black and white. Each faction has its own goals and motivations, and you must decide for yourself who to trust.

Our principles

  • Meticulously recreated world based on archaeological findings and historical records with historical figures, authentic settlements, clothing, and social structures.
  • Diegetic interface – scratch map on a tree bark, ask strangers for directions and listen to your body.
  • Not another “sprawling open-world” saturated with repetitive map markers – curiosity is your compass.
  • Folk creatures and monsters are very rare – you will not meet them everywhere.
